When is the best time to fish? Click here for a handy chart to help you plan the best times for your kind of fishing.

Kasilof kings:
The Kasilof offers some of the most exciting fishing action around, and is known for it's large runs of kings. Fish average 20-35 lbs. with one in the 40-50 lbs. is not uncommon. The weather during May and June on the Kasilof can be just as unbelievable as the fishing with June of 2001 having more than thirty days of straight sun shine. Fishing is done from a twenty-foot Koffler drift boat with plenty of room for four fishermen to fish.

Kenai River kings:
Kenai kings are the true monsters of the kings, with the average weight being between 40-60 lbs. and one in the 70's is not uncommon. You will fish in a spacious 20 ft. river sled that can take up to four fishermen at one time with almost more room than you need. Just remember that with a fishery like this it can get crowded from time to time.

Silver (Coho) salmon:
Silver salmon can be the most fun. With an average weight of 8-15 lbs. and a limit of two per day, this is a great way to get some fish for the freezer. Silvers are both eager biters and jumpers, making them fun for all. Both the Kenai and Kasilof River host large numbers of runs.
